Tyler Goldchain is an award-winning composer and performer. His work spans film, theatre, fine art, commercial and live performance.

As a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, Tyler has performed all over the world including in Radio City Music Hall with Alicia Keys in 2022. He is the recipient of many fellowships and awards including the National Endowment of the Arts Artist Corps Fellowship, Composer Spotlight Program sponsored by the Mellon Foundation, and the Bitsie Clark grant. He’s had the honor of collaborating with Grammy-winning producer Jim Pugh, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, and the historic Sembrich. His original music and instrumentation has allowed to perform alongside talented artists including Tommy Richman, 2YBG, Amine, Masego, MAVI, and Jeff Tweedy.

Tyler won his first composition award for his debut score of the 2022 short film Graveyard which won him “Best Original Score” from the LA Crime and Horror Film Festival and special honors from Wesleyan University. His score for the Off-Broadway production of Death By A Thousand Cuts required the totality of Tyler’s musical voices and had sold-out runs across the east coast. His score in the award winning short film Artboy was included in the 2023 Newport Beach Film Festival.
