Tyler Goldchain is a multi-instrumentalist artist and composer known for his original work, and award-winning compositions. His musical imprint spans across a variety of genres, styles and mediums.

His journey began as a jazz drummer in New Haven, Connecticut, before his love for performance allowed him to perform at such venues as Radio City Music Hall and the San Francisco Bluegrass Festival, while also working with major artists such as Alicia Keys, Tommy Richman, and Grammy-Winning producer Jim Pugh.

He is a budding force in the world of composition. In 2024, he was commissioned by the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and honored with the the Bitsie Clark Artist grant. After scoring the Off-Broadway production of “Death By A Thousand Cuts” in 2022, he founded Goldchain Entertainment, a boutique music composition firm.

He is the recipient of many fellowships and awards including the National Endowment of the Arts Artist Corps Fellowship, Composer Spotlight Program sponsored by the Mellon Foundation and was awarded Best Original Score at the LA Crime and Horror Film Festival in 2022.

His inventive and beautiful compositions capture the unique roots of his upbringing while honoring the traditions that shaped him and our greater musical landscape.
